WOW!!! Look how much this fire has traveled in just on day!!! We are sooo thankful that the winds have been in our favor...heavily blowing east, however, i deeply feel for the folks who have lost their homes in the other direction. We are still hanging tight, as this fire is still raging at about 37,000 acres now with 0% containment(thats about 57.7 square miles), and we have no idea where the winds will take it next. We have an evacuation plan put together if we need to leave, but we are still 15 miles west of this fire, so for now, we are keeping a close eye on things. We have heard from several concerned family and friends, so i hope this map helps to calm their concerns. Thank you for all the well wishes and offers of crash space...keep em coming! :) In the meantime, anyone know a rain dance we can do?

Oh that's awful!
My heart goes out to all that are affected and may the winds keep it away from you and your family.
Dear Lisa ... praying you stay out of harm's way ... 15 miles isn't a great distance to a fire ...if it moves with the right fuel ... nature has no conscious ... it just does what it does within it's given environment ... I'm sure you know that ... especially in your capacity.
Keep safe!
Hugs ... Marie
I have been following your reports on the fire and been thankful you are all ok. 15 miles is scary close and I pray everything is going to be ok for you and that the fire gets under control in general for all those other poor families in its path. Keep us updated if you can, we are thinking of you!
