She was greeted with presents from Santa...a Doctor Who bed set and TARDIS pillow! Then it was time for more presents!
Jordyn received many wonderful goodies...ice skates, Doctor Who yahtzee, a new jacket, lots of clothes, some new books, Doctor Who legos and action figures, an origami set, the game of Life,
a doodle book, a light table, and lots of other goodies!
And then of course there was the famous red boot vest! My mom bought this vest for Denise years ago at a garage sale...well of course Denise hated it (while the rest of us laughed and mocked it)...well a few years later it ended up going to my Aunt Gwen...who then a few years later mailed it to me...and so on and so on, each one of us taking a photo in it and adding it to a photo album that we included with the vest as we passed it on. This year Christy gave it to Jordyn...so the tradition continues! :) I wonder who we'll mail it to next!
Christy also included a"coupon" good for one sewing machine for Jordyn that she could pick out with Christy, along with some sewing notions...so Jordyn is very excited to make her own things soon!
Looks like my little whovian scored a lot of cool TARDIS fun!
And then of course there were the stockings...filled with candy, art supplies, knit gloves, cool nail stuff, lip balm, stickers, hot wheels, beef jerky, and other fun things!
After presents we enjoyed a breakfast casserole and fresh fruit! While Jordyn played with her presents, i napped on the couch and Justin played some music on his guitar. Grandma and Grandpa Bruen stopped by later in the afternoon for a visit on their way home from Steamboat...had some lunch with us and then headed home. It was snowing all day, so they couldnt stay long, but it was nice to visit for a while! We ended up getting about 6 inches of snow all day, which was a welcome treat! We look forward to trying out our new ice skates over the holiday break...the ice on the pond should be just right! That evening we wandered up to Aunt LeAnns for a visit and then we called it a night! We were all pretty wiped out! Im looking forward to a relaxing day in our pajamas tomorrow! Happy Christmas!
