December in our Town ~

Its that time of year again...time for the winter school program.  This years show was called "December in our Town", and all grades, including preschool, participated.  Now, for those of you unfamiliar with my blog, thats my daughter in the front row in the red....and that first picture is about as jovial as she gets during the whole show.
Normally, she is highly animated and loves to perform for anyone whos attention she can capture, but last night, for some reason, she was a total sour puss!  Just look at her face in this next photo...
That is how she looked through most of the show, the little stinker!  I also love the kid in the background, who looks like he's threatening to punch someone...in fact, theres all kinds of hilarious stuff going on in this pic.  But to be fair to Jordyn, she did fall asleep on the drive over, so she might have been a bit groggy...and Justin and i are both sick, and i think she is catching our cold too...but still...she had no problem perking up when Santa entered the room...

Anyways, it was still an entertaining evening and we had a great time!  Cheers~

I miss school Christmas programs. I remember my daughter in her kindergarten show. She picked up the front of her dress and was holding it to her mouth, showing her under garments, lol. Of course everyone was laughing. And it was before the time of digital cameras....

Oh poor Jordyn I hope she perks up...it such a busy time of year and so hard for them all to be all smiles all the time ;o)

Love the little lad on the end on the left...he and Jordyn make quite the bookends! :o)

Kids are so funny. It sure is unusual to see a pic of your little girl without a smile on her face I have to say. I bet the program was comical to say the least. Hope all of you are feeling better. By the way Joydyns dress is just beautiful, she looks so cute in it!!

Performing on your own fr
or 'the home crowd' isn't half as scary as getting up there with others and a prescribed script! Jordyn did all the right stuff, so next time will be much easier for her!
