Well, after only a few weeks, this is what the bees have created so far. Its pretty awesome to watch them in action...theres a little window in the side of the hive to watch the activity, and as you can see, they are cruisin right along!
We have had several more bear encounters, the most recent was last night...the damn bear scattered my garbage all over the property! doh! The night before that i forgot to take down my hummingbird feeders and he tore those down (breaking one of them). Ah...life in the mountains! :) I wouldnt trade it for anything though!
This is my 100th post, and i would love to do a give-away, but since im getting ready to run out the door to go camping, i guess ill have to worry about a give-away another time. Besides, i dont know what to give away :) But i dont suppose i will get any complaints if i do one at a later date!
Well, for those of you in the states.....have a Happy 4th of July!!! :)

Lucky you, fresh honey. Mmmmm, yummy.
How come the bears go for your bins and bird feeders, but leave the hive alone?
It's pouring with rain here and has been coming down steadily all night - hope your camping weather is better than this!
