Jordyn had a sleepover this weekend with her friend Andrea...these two have known each other since preschool! They spent most of the evening chatting in her room, playing games, coloring, etc. It was really too cold and snowy to go outside and do anything else. We all met her mom in town the next day though, and went to the theatre to see the final movie in the Hunger Games series, the Mockingjay Part 2. They did a great job keeping to the book, and though it was a depressing movie in a lot of ways, it was still really good. The girls enjoyed it! After the movie, Justin, Jordyn and I had dinner at Serious Texas BBQ. It was my first time there, and i really liked it! Its always fun to discover a new place! Anyways, it was a quiet weekend after that, and then we had two snow days off from school (Monday and Tuesday)....hooray for snow days! Meanwhile, i thought i would share a colored pencil drawing Jordyn did this week...i thought it came out pretty cute! Cheers!
