Off With Her Head!

Dont mess with the Red Queen!  Thats right...its that time of year again...time for the annual costume portraits of Jordyn for Halloween!  The weather was cooperating, however, Jordyn was not...good thing she channeled that attitude into her photo shoot...i think it worked quite well for her :)
She wanted to be a princess, but when i explained to her that the evil queen from Alice in Wonderland might be fun (not to mention all the other girls would be princesses), she thought so too...so we tried on make-up,  and this is what we came up with.  I need to put a little more effort into the eyelashes, but otherwise, i think it looks wonderful!
She seems pleased too!  After that, it was on to decorating the pumpkins.  These little Mr. Potato Head pieces are great...you can enjoy your pumpkins all month long and still carve them on Halloween!  Nosey seems rather interested in the pirate pumpkin.
And here they are...the pumpkin family ready for Tricks and Treats ~

What a fabulous costume! And you're right, EVERYONE will be a princess. It's good to be queen!

I think the makeup & the Red Queen idea is far more suited to attitude that your basic princess!

Love it! Great job on the makeup!

Fond memories of Halloween costumes when the kids were younger ... Mel was a clown one year ... and caught a pic of her with a frown ... Tim was Batman more than once ... oh ... and then there was that Halloween when he ended up with Chickenpox the next day ... couldn't figure out why he wasn't enjoying Trick or Treating!

Love the Potato Head Pumpkins! They have total character!

My DH really really
showed his inner child when it came to carving pumpkins ... but his true artistic self came thru with the assistance of power tools! We always got rave reviews from the Ghost & Goblins on how cool our pumpkins were!

Hugs ... Marie
