I Spy A First Birthday ~

We went down to Denver this last weekend for Devyn's first birthday and some fun with the family. Christy had this fabulous Easter basket filled with goodies for Jordyn...
as you can see, she loves her new dalmatian doggie.

Then it was off to Devyn's first birthday party...

she wasnt sure what to think of the cupcake, and spent most of the time pushing it off her tray.

Meanwhile, the rest of the girls were outside doing face art while the boys played guitar hero on the Wii.

Jordyn loved getting her face decorated by Mckenna!

There was lots of dancing...and then on to presents.....

This is the I-Spy quilt i made for Devyn...looks like she likes it!

And here is a shot of the whole thing, including the label...

The circle drawn on the label was done by Jordyn when no one was looking...at least it wasnt on the quilt itself. I guess she decided she wanted to sign it too :)
It was a wonderful weekend with family and friends, and we had a blast. On our way home, the locals decided to welcome us at the mailbox...

Its great to get away, but i love living in the mountains!!!
