Last Day of 6th Grade ~

It was the last day of school today!  Jordyn's school celebrated with music out on the grass, compliments of the Rock band Justin put together at the school, and then they took this giant group photo.  All the 6th graders are in the letter "C" so naturally Justin had to join them.  It was also my last day of school, so to celebrate, I made strawberry margaritas when I got home! 
Bring on Summer!!!

Last Field Trip ~

I went on my last school field trip today for Stove Prairie!  It was a bit sad, but then field trips aren't as fun without Jordyn on them!  Next year I will still be the media/tech at Stove Prairie, but I will also be starting my new job as secretary, and the secretary stays at the school and doesn't go on field trips, so I made sure to have fun on my last outing with the kiddos!  We went to the Denver Aquarium!  The last time I was there was in 2011 for Jordyns field trip...look how tiny she was...

It was a great day!  Only 2 1/2 more days of school left!!!

Too Much Fun ~

Our plans to Denver were cancelled so Jordyn was able to go to the school dance and a sleepover last night with a bunch of friends. Apparently they were up all night, so this is her this afternoon with the cats on this fine rainy day! She is still asleep in there and its almost 7 o'clock! hahhahahhahaha   Thanks for giving me a quiet Saturday as well Sharon! :)

Last School Dance of the Season ~

 Tonight was their last dance of the school year!  We met up at Tabby's house and got a few photos of these clowns before they headed out.  I can't believe how much these kids have grown since the beginning of the school year!  Have fun tonight you guys!

New Haircut ~

 Jordyn wanted to chop off all her hair, so here is the result.  I think it came out really cute!  She actually wanted it a bit shorter, but the stylist suggested we start with this length and could always go shorter later.  Now she is ready for summer!

An Old Friend ~

I had a blast hanging out with Michelle Migneault Cox on Sunday and meeting her husband Quintan! Haven't seen her in over 30 years...and it was soooo much fun catching up! She was in town for a race that was taking place in the canyon, so she came on up afterwards.  Come on up to the cabin anytime....the cocktails will be waiting for ya! :

Derby Day ~

 We took a break from spring cleaning at the resort today to enjoy some mint juleps and watch the race!  I picked Firenze Fire...good thing I didn't have any money on him!  :)  Thanks for the Juleps Connie, they were delicious!
