Patiently Waiting For Christmas ~

 Jordyn has a cold right now, and has been cooped up inside all day, so she decided to get out for a bit and play on the snow mound dad made for our sled run!  Its 20 degrees outside and snowing, but its absolutely beautiful out!

 Later inside she was reading the Night Before Christmas and came across this page to share with me...

Roller Skating with the Girl Scouts ~

 We decided to plan a fun get-together over break with our troop, and since its cold and snowy outside, we decided indoor skating would be fun!  After all, these kids dont have any sidewalks where they live, so they dont get a chance to skate at home.  Jordyn decided to try rollerblades instead of skates, and she did great!  Justin opted for rollerblades too...but I stuck with my old school habbits and rode on regular roller skates :)

 The kids had a great time, and it wasnt very crowded, so it was a great day to be there.  They skated for hours, played arcade games, and even enjoyed the laser maze!

It was great to get out and do something fun...and the moms as well as the kids had a great time!

Time Off For Good Behavior ~

 Today was our last day of preschool for the year, so we celebrated with a pajama holiday party!  The kids enjoyed a book gift exchange, and then we watched Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and ate popcorn!

 Parents joined us for the last hour and we gave them the gifts we made them, handprint ornaments, and then decorated gingerbread houses!  Naturally more of the candy went into their tummy instead of on the roof!  :)  A great time was had by all and the kids went home sugared up and happy!

See you all next year!  Now Im at home and I have the next 17 days off!!!  Let the relaxing begin!!!

Christmastime Photo Shoot ~

Phone rang at 5 am this morning...snow day...no school!  Wooohoooo!  We slept in, lounged in our pajamas all day, and then we decided to do our Christmas card photo shoot.  Ill probably just do digital cards this year, but they are cards just the same :)  Anyways, we got some great shots, now i just need to decide which one to go with!

And just so Kato didnt feel left out...we took one inside with her!

Sleepover Fun ~

 Jordyn had her friend Rehna over this weekend.  Rehna has moved on to middle school, so Jordyn doesnt get to see her much now, so they were pretty excited to hang out together.

 It was cold and snowy outside, so they spent most of the time coloring...in fact, they colored for hours and hours!  They had so much fun we turned it into a two-night sleepover.  A cozy time with a good friend...the perfect thing to do on a chilly weekend!

Goodies From Great Godmother ~

These cookies arrived in the mail today for Jordyn from my Godmother...we call her Jordyns Great Godmom :)  Anyways, it was a super sweet surprise and Jordyn loves them....Thank you Sandy!!!
