and baby makes three...

Well, been a while since my first entry......what can i say.....im lame! :)
Actually, as you can see we have been very busy up here adjusting to our new life as parents and loving every minute of it!   People say you dont get any sleep when you bring a newborn home, but let me just say, its by choice!   There are plenty of opportunities to sleep, but we choose not to sleep and would rather just stare at the baby in amazement!
Jordyn Skye was born July 14th at 6:19 pm.....weighing 6lbs 7oz....and measuring 18 1/2"
When i get more time, i will post more photos....so stay tuned!
In the meantime, thank you for all of the wonderful well-wishes and gifts sent to us! Jordyn is truly surrounded by the most loving friends and family ever!

i finally joined blogland...

Hey guys....okay....so im a little slow...but i think ive figured it out so here i am :)  Sarah introduced me to this, and i had no idea it even existed, however all of my friends seem to be hip to it so i thought id join in. Its my attempt at being hip too :)  Besides, what else have i got to do up here on the mountain!
Im officially in week 33 of pregnancy....here is a photo of JB and i from yesterday, May 21, 2006.
We will miss most of you during the camping season, for obvious reasons, but i hope being
part of blogland will help me feel connected to my Darbuka family until we can join you in next summers camping adventures! :)  Hope you are all well.......and i look forward to chatting with you!
