Cousins ~

Valentine Roses ~

This lucky girl received 5 chocolate roses🌹 at school today from a special friend and it made her day! Naturally she ate two of them on the bus ride home! Happy early Valentines Day Jordyn ❤️

Healing Kitten ~

 Justin took Stitch in to get spayed on Friday, so she is not very trusting of adults right now and has mostly been hiding all weekend.  She did come out for several hours to cuddle with Kato though!  They looked so cozy, I decided to join them, and promptly fell asleep for 4 hours!  I love these two cats!

Valentine Dance at CLP

 The Valentine Dance at CLP was on Friday!  Jordyn asked London to the dance, and then she asked if she could get a dress for the dance.  She never wears dresses, so I was surprised but excited for her to get a new outfit for the dance.  She chose this super cute retro outfit, which I just love!  I wanted to get her a petticoat to go under it, but she didn't want one.  The dress is cute either way! 
Anyways, our plan was to stay at Sharon's cabin and then go to Tabbys place for pizza and treats before the dance.  Sadly, Jordyn was fairly sick with a head cold, so she looks a little red and puffy in these photos, but she was excited to go, so off we went!

 We all had a great time hanging out before the dance, but as we were all visiting, the weather turned really crappy out and the roads got really slick!  We took the kids to the dance, and then went back to Tabbys to hang out!  We decided it was so nasty out that we would stay there instead of heading up Rist Canyon on icy roads....so we picked up the kids and went back to Tabbys and let the fun begin!  We enjoyed many cocktails, while the kids stayed up way too late goofing off and having fun!  It turned into an evening of laughs and good times!  Thanks for having us Tabby!  It was a blast! 

Rotting Pumpkin ~

We came home from school and Jordyn almost slipped on this rotting pumpkin that has been sitting by the porch since Halloween, so she decided to move it!  I thought she looked hilarious with her little matching hobo pouch!  Anything is entertaining in January! hahahahhaha!

Fancy Mom Breakfast ~

 I'm loving our new belgian waffle maker I bought myself for Christmas!!!  My mom sent me some Christmas money, and this is one of the items I purchased.  Toppings included maple syrup, strawberry syrup, bananas, strawberries, dark chocolate syrup and of course whipped cream and powdered sugar for good measure!

 Jordyn's friend Kelsey was over for a sleepover...looks like everyone approved of the "fancy mom breakfast" Teresa called it when I sent her a photo!  :)   hahahahhaha

I also purchased some new flannel sheets, since the last set finally had a hole in them...looks like Kitten approves!  I just love the little skiing gnomes!

We also finally got out to see the new Star Wars movie this week....The Last Jedi...and we LOVED it!

 We went to the Fort Collins Bistro to see it, you know the place with the fabulous reclining leather seats, complete with fold down table and food served to you in your seat!  It's a bit pricey but fun to splurge like that once in a while, and really the best way to go for comfort while watching a movie!  Since it was an early showing, Christy and Beas were able to join us too!  Believe it or not, it was an 8:45am showing...who knew they showed movies that early?!?  We had cheeseburgers and fries for breakfast...just because...and it was a blast!  What a terrific start to the new year!

The Bistro with Friends ~

Finally went to see Star Wars at the bistro today!!! Loved it! Christy and Beas drove up to Fort Collins to join us, which was fun!  Can't believe winter break is coming to an end...sigh!
